People ask us, “Why the bison/buffalo?” Neither of us are from Kansas. Ross grew up in Michigan, and I in Maryland. When we moved into our shop on Hickory, we had a cool picture of a bison that we had been given on a visit to the Wichita Zoo. We hung it up and felt that it represented our new place and the new birth of our company because we were putting down roots here in Kansas by establishing this business. And, of course, the bison is a great representative of Kansas and the Plains.
