Say What?
Sometimes we use terms around here that can be beneficial to understand. One of these is SEER. Seer stands for Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio. This is the cooling output provided by the AC unit during its normal annual usage period divided by it’s total energy consumption. In other words, it’s similar to the miles-per-gallon rating for automobiles. The more efficient the AC, the higher the SEER rating!
