What Is AFUE?
AFUE stands for Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency. Say What?? That translates as a measurement of heat that is actually delivered to your house , compared to the amount of fuel that you supply to the furnace. If you have an 80% furnace, then 80% of the fuel is being converted into heat for your home and 20% is flying away. This is why we prefer the 90% furnace.

Hybrid Heat
Hybrid Heat uses a heating source that provides the most energy-efficient comfort during moderate heating conditions. If the temperature drops below a given temperature, your system goes to a secondary heating source when that is the most economical way to keep your home comfortable. Hybrid Heat includes an Infinity heat pump as well as the furnace. This combination delivers heated air temperature that are warmer than most traditional heat pumps. Since the Hybrid Heat system provides cooling as well, this system becomes your total, year-round comfort, savings solution.
