Heating and cooling systems are able to work separately but are also designed to work together. Having matched equipment can give you better efficiency. Matching your furnace and air-conditioner will give you the maximum efficiency for which it’s designed. In addition to your air-conditioner and furnace, there are also options to enhance your comfort level, such as a humidifier or air-purifier. You will be able to find these on the Accessories tab. AFUE
AFUE stands for Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency. Say What?? That translates as a measurement of heat that is actually delivered to your house , compared to the amount of fuel that you supply to the furnace. If you have an 80% furnace, then 80% of the fuel is being converted into heat for your home and 20% is flying away. This is why we prefer the 90% furnace.
